    Pet Bios Review

Pet-Bios.com recently gifted us a fun and charming bio of Luna.  The print looks like a beautiful magazine cover and will soon be matted and framed to adorn one of our walls.  To quote one of my favorite movies, Pride and Prejudice (the one with Keira Knightley), “I knew she did not be so beautiful for nothing.”

If you take a minute and visit the site, you will see that Pet-Bios was established in 2004 by Chad Kocher, an avid pet lover who is simply using his computer skills and his love of animals for a fun use.

    A little information about Pet-Bios:

“Each Pet-Bio is tailored to your pet's personality and
incorporates an assortment of witty and fun factoids about your
furry friend (i.e. birthday, nicknames, special skills, "human"
peeves, favorite food – just to name a few).
Each Pet-Bio is printed on high-quality photo paper and mailed
directly to you.  They are specially formatted to fit a standard
8-1/2" x 11" frame so that you can hang it on the wall at home...
or feature it on your desk at work.”

    Omega Treat Review

Look at what arrived in our mail box the other day!  It was a sample of the new Healthy Omega Treats by Pet Botanics.  I think they wanted to see if our dogs would like their new treats.

This particular sample was Pet Botanics’ Healthy Omega Salmon treat, made up of five layers. The top, middle and bottom layers are codfish (known for its low fat content, Vitamins A and D, and omega 3 & 6 fatty acids). The two thick inner layers are made of a mixture of salmon and sweet potato, providing a good balance of protein, vitamins, minerals and antioxidants. Sweet potato, which contains a lot of potassium, is an easily digestible source of energy.

I think it’s safe to say that our dogs like the Healthy Omega Treats.  Penny is one picky puppy - treats, toys, laps (nah, she doesn’t really discriminate when it comes to nap time) – but she gobbles these nuggets up in a hurry.  Luna finds the treats simply irresistible, but then again, she loves just about everything edible anyway.  Thank you Pet Botanics for making a wonderful and healthy treat!

Here are just a few places you can purchase these treats from:

    Cardinal Pet Care

    Amazon

    Entirely Pets

These treats do not contain Wheat, Soy, Lecithin, BHA, BHT, Ethoxyquin, artificial flavor, Glutens or Grains.

    Flexi Leash Review

A wonderful person at Flexi USA noticed that we had recently posted about walking our two differently sized dogs and offered to send us a retractable leash of our choice.  I think she might have been silently laughing at our poor and clumsy efforts at walking Penny and Luna together for the first time, and offered us a leash to spare us future embarrassment.  What ever her motives were, we are grateful for the wonderful gift.  I chose the Small Flexi Classic Cord, which is fitted for dogs up to 26 lbs. and reaches 16 ft. in length.  It’s the perfect fit for our 14 lb. Dachsie and provides her just enough length to execute her zoomies in our front yard.   This is also a perfect leash for when we venture over to our local park, as it allows Penny just enough distance to go sniffing about, while still keeping her close enough to be safe.  I will admit that I do have a retractable leash (from another manufacturer) for Luna, but definitely prefer the quality and design of the Flexi Leash over the other.

Thank you Flexi! Penny loves her new leash (See the second picture? She’s smiling out of appreciation for the Flexi-leash!), and Luna is quite jealous! Smile with tongue out
