Wordless Wednesday #86

Not sure if this should be a 'wordless' or just a 'priceless' picture of me... but yes this IS a picture of me.  Monday evening I managed to get food stuck in my esophagus (something that has become a recurring issue with me) and had to go to the ER to receive an Esophago-Gastro-Duodenoscopy.  I also received esophageal dilatation where a balloon was used to widen the narrowed part of my esophagus.  I was (of course) sedated while all of this was being done, and this lovely picture was taken by my husband at my request (though he initially refused, repeatedly) while he patiently waited for the staff to sign me out.  Apparently after waking up I asked the nurse if I would be able to drink coffee and eat ice-cream... obviously I must have been hungry and tired.

Oh my goodness! I hope you are home and okay now. That had to be tremendously frightening. :(

Of course, I can't help but chuckle over you asking for coffee and ice cream after all that. Priorities, right. ;)
