Today's Forcast (for Seattle, WA)

Today's Forecast (for Seattle, WA)

10:20 a.m. update:

The National Weather Service has issued several new snow-related watches and warnings for much of Western Washington as two more snow events occur before the major snow event on Wednesday.

First event for Monday, a trough of low pressure will swing through the region bringing locally heavy snow showers to the area. A second event for late Monday into early Tuesday morning involves an arctic front that could bring 3-6 inches of additional snow to the interior of Western Washington, including the greater Seattle-Tacoma-Everett-Bellevue metro areas.

And then, there is still the matter of the major, widespread snow event forecast for Wednesday that has potential to bring widespread heavy snow to the region.

So, after a half an hour of trying to brave the road conditions this moring- I gave up, went home and played in the snow with my dogs.

That was a very sensible plan. I would have stayed in bed and sulked.

Penny looks like she's having a blast! You've gotten more snow than we've had here in Michigan. Still waiting for a big snowstorm!
